The changes I've made are minimal.. I was messing around with the fonts and don't have a clue what to use, and need to rasterize the design but didn't like any of my outcomes so I'm leaving it for now... as for an ad I don't have a clue.. maybe something like we can make anything look good and have a picture of something before and after... no idea.
Go with #1, It looks good, maybe rotate and move the design over.
ReplyDeleteThe graphic splatter is almost there. Explore more typefaces; they lack the explosive energy of your paint.
ReplyDeleteyou should also try the adobe title used right now too. its myriad. the adobe icon needs to be a lot smaller and you can even play with the color of it. but the top layout is getting there.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely make the type and adobe logo smaller. It might all work out better if you do that. I would go with layout 1 or 2. I think also you need to make your splatter a little bigger or a little smaller, it seems to be riding the edge a bit. I agree about exploring more type. I think thats everyones problem ;)
ReplyDeleteGood luck.

I like the first one because it has all the information together in one spot. It always has a sense of movement, so it keeps your eye moving around, which is a good thing. Maybe make the adobe logo a little smaller, the color red makes it pretty bold, so thats where my eye goes first.
ReplyDeleteThese are great because my eyes are trying to see things in the splatter, kind of like those ink blobs that psychiatrists use. Don't be so shy with the type, try some wild typefaces that match the energy of the design. The colors are nice too.
ReplyDeleteI think the first one is the best too. It was either between the first and second, but the smaller font on the first one looks nicer. Maybe use different fonts?
